The development of large-scale four-row labyrinth sealed compressor led by Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research and Design Institute has passed the inspection and acceptance by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Beijing.

This achievement belongs to one of the national “Eleventh Five-Year” scientific and technological support projects “One-tenth-ton Ethylene Equipment and Related Technology Development” organized by Sinopec. It has independent intellectual property rights and its technical indicators have reached the international advanced level. In the past year's on-site assessment operation, the unit was working well. This indicates that China's large-scale ethylene projects have fully equipped with independent design and manufacturing capabilities, mastered the technology core of one million tons, reduced the total investment in the equipment, and further improved the localization of large-scale ethylene projects and labyrinth-sealed compressors for other installations. The capability and level of major technical equipment in China are of great significance.
