Recently, the first large-scale coal gas demonstration project approved by the state and started construction in China, the Datang International Keshikeng Coal-to-Liquid Natural Gas Project was started construction in Keshiketengqi, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. This project is the flagship enterprise of China Datang Corporation. Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. uses the rich brown coal resources of Inner Mongolia to produce coal using advanced and mature process technologies based on China’s rich coal, lean oil, and low gas energy conditions. Natural gas, to achieve clean transformation of coal resources, and then achieve industrial restructuring, and actively enter the new energy field of important strategic initiatives. It is estimated that after the completion of 2012, it will be able to provide 4 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Beijing each year and become the second atmospheric source in Beijing, which will be of great significance in effectively improving Beijing’s atmospheric environment and ensuring the energy supply security of Beijing.
