HTC Desire's 820 is the latest addition to the HTC Desire 8 series, which promises to provide an affordable, comprehensive mobile experience. It has a 5.5-inch display, a 64-bit eight-core processor and an 8-megapixel front camera.

HTC has not officially stated how much the handset will cost or actually cost. It is a two-tone, one-piece body designed to provide a range of bright colors. Like all HTC's latest phones, it has a 5.5-inch screen that supports 720p display and it runs the latest HTC Sense 6 software. It has an 8 megapixel front camera, probably the highest resolution HTC front camera so far, and we've seen it on mobile phones. It has different software features, including the ability to digitize and deform both sides together.
HTC's introduction of the 820 is the world’s first device shipment and Qualcomm’s latest 64-bit commercial eight-core processor. HTC said that this will not only allow mobile phones to handle easier multi-tasking, but also make it more convenient for future Android updates.
