Bosch Germany Completes Acquisition of US RTI Auto Parts Company
According to foreign reports, German component supplier Bosch recently announced that its aftermarket business completed the acquisition of RTI Technologies, Inc. on December 7, 2010. RTI was founded in 1990 and it assembles and sells a variety of automotive accessories in the United States, including automotive air conditioning. RTI Technologies focuses on the development and sales of auto parts equipment. RTI Technologies, headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, USA, has sales of $12 million in 2009 and employs 36 partners. Robert Hanser, president of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, said: “The acquisition of RTI technology will enable us to better meet the needs of our customers in auto parts, especially in air conditioning. We will start offering these innovative products to our customers in 2011, especially those in the European market. â€
